Dr. David Stecker was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. After high school, he attended Marquette University where he was accepted to their Dental School after just three years of undergraduate study. While at Marquette, he met and married his wife, Ann, before graduating second in his class in 1985.
Upon graduation, Dave moved to Beaver Dam and joined Dr. Ed Schuler in his practice (then known as Beaver Dam Dental Group), and has been serving the Beaver Dam community ever since. The practice name was shortened to Beaver Dam Dental in December of 2012 when Dr. Schuler retired and Dr. Stecker partnered with Dr. Jed Harris (below).
Dr. Dave and his wife have raised two wonderful daughters, both presently in graduate school. Away from the practice, Dave enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, woodworking and various automotive interests.
Dr. Jed Harris was born in southeastern Utah and grew up enjoying all aspects of rural life: hunting, fishing, hiking and working on a farm. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University. Jed went on to attend the College of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned his DMD.
Shortly after his graduation in May 2011, Dr. Harris moved with his family to Wisconsin to practice dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and loves to help patients find their smile. He actively pursues continuing education in general, cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is especially proficient in denture fabrication. Jed is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Wisconsin Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Harris enjoys golfing, biking, building model cars, and spending time with his wife and three children.
Dr. McCombs grew up in Naperville, Illinois, a western Chicago suburb, where her childhood dentist provided her with a very positive experience which contributed to her decision to enter the dental field. Dr. McCombs’ compassionate patient care philosophy is evident by her generosity in providing free dental care to underserved people in a variety of settings.
Dr. McCombs attended the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science with double majors in molecular/cellular biology and Spanish. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. McCombs extended her dedication and pursuit of clinical excellence with an advanced General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Dr. McCombs met her fiancé, Pierce, in dental school. Together they enjoy travelling, spending time outside, watching movies, trout fishing and spending time at Pierce's family lake home in Waupaca.
